About the clinical trial RENEW-MDD-1

RENEW-MDD-1 is a clinical research study from Eli Lilly and Company for adults with major depressive disorder (MDD) who are taking a treatment that is already helping manage their symptoms. Everyone who takes part will continue their current treatment. They will also take either placebo or an investigational drug (the one being tested). The study will evaluate whether the investigational drug, used together with the current treatment, is safe and can help people with MDD stay well for longer.

Who can participate in this study?

Be 18 to 75 years old
Have been diagnosed with major depressive disorder (MDD) and be currently taking treatment for it
Currently have improved or well-controlled symptoms of depression
Have a BMI (body mass index) of at least 22

Will the study have any cost?

All study-related medical care and visits are provided at no cost to participants. No health insurance is required to participate.
