About the clinical trial Radiant

RADIANT is a research trial conducted in accordance with regulatory and health authority requirements to evaluate an investigational drug, vormatrigine, as a potential treatment for focal-onset and generalized seizures.

Who can participate in this study?

The requirements to participate are the following:

  • Be 18 to 75 years old.
  • At least two focal-onset seizures per month for patients with focal-onset epilepsy, or 1 generalized tonic-clonic seizure per month.
  • You are taking 1 to 3 anticonvulsant medications

Will the study have any cost?

The promoter (Praxis) will cover all the expenses of the study. It includes taxi or car service in case you can’t drive. No health insurance required.

  • All medical atention from the study for free with flexibility to visit your home sometimes.
  • Follow up by a physician and study staff experienced in epilepsy.
  • The oportunity to help advance medical knowledge and possibly help other people who suffer from epilepsy.

Your safety is our top priority during your participation in the study. If you have any doubts or questions at any moment, you’ll have direct contact with whom you could communicate to get help.

Your participation is voluntary. You may withdraw at any time and for any reason. Your privacy will be maintained throughout the study.

You can complete most study visits from home. In some cases, only 2 visits are required in the medical office, while the rest fo the visits can be completed through telemedicine at home.
