RENEW-Scz-1 is a clinical research study from Eli Lilly and Company for adults with schizophrenia who are taking medication to manage their symptoms. Everyone who takes part will continue taking their current schizophrenia medication. They will also take either placebo or an investigational drug (the one being tested). Placebo looks the same as the investigational drug but contains no active medicine. The study will evaluate whether the investigational drug, used together with the current medication, is safe and effective — specifically, whether it can help people manage their weight, improve their thinking and memory, and remain stable for longer.

What is a study partner? A study partner is a person who knows you well and would notice if you are feeling or acting differently. This person could be a family member or someone whose job it is to help you.
All study-related medical care and visits are provided at no cost to participants. No health insurance is required to participate.
