About the clinical trial RENEW-Bipolar-1

RENEW-Bipolar-1 is a clinical research study conducted to evaluate an investigational drug as a potential add-on treatment for adults living with bipolar disorder 1 or 2. The study is sponsored by Eli Lilly and Company. Everyone who takes part will continue their current treatment while also receiving either the investigational drug or a placebo.

Who can participate in this study?

Be 18 to 75 years old
Have been diagnosed with bipolar disorder 1 or 2
Be currently taking a treatment to manage bipolar disorder symptoms
Have a BMI (body mass index) of at least 22

Will the study have any cost?

All study-related medical care and visits are provided at no cost to participants. No health insurance is required to participate.
